You know how your parents show you unconditional love? With Access Opportunity it’s the same thing, but not necessarily love – I’d call it unconditional support. I love the whole program but it’s the commitment of the Access Opportunity team that is so incredible. Each one of the mentors is there to push us forward and provide constant support and engagement. It’s crazy how much they believe in us, it gives our whole group so much extra confidence and motivation.

Knowing that the AO staff are there to help me with any questions I have during my educational career is such a relief! The staff cares about each of us and that’s what is so intriguing about this program. Along with that, throughout the workshops I created friendships with some fascinating people with the same ambitions as me. I am highly appreciative for this program, and what it has to offer me in the future.

I am going to college to set an example for my siblings and family to show them if you work hard anything is possible. But I also want to go to find myself which is what I think is most important (your own happiness)

I want to go to college to help my family and to become a better, smarter, and stronger leader. I also want to learn everything about my country and learn about the world to help find solutions to its problems. I want to prepare myself to improve the world.
